We asked the firms
what was missing.
Then we built it.
LetsFocus was founded after a simple observation: thousands of civil and architecture graduates in Hyderabad were leaving college with degrees but without the professional skills that firms actually needed. We decided to close that gap — not with theory, but with practitioner-led training.
Why LetsFocus exists
In 2022, we spent three months interviewing principals, project managers, and HR leads at 30+ architecture and civil engineering firms across Hyderabad.
The feedback was consistent: graduates were technically competent but professionally unprepared. They couldn't navigate a live site, couldn't communicate with clients, and didn't understand how a project actually runs.
No existing training program addressed this specifically for the Hyderabad market — so we built one. Every module was designed around what those 30+ firms told us they needed.
Interviewed 30+ Hyderabad firms to map the graduate skills gap
First cohort: 12 graduates, 4 modules, 6 weeks — 11 placed within 2 months
Expanded to 3 cohorts per year. Added live site capstone in Week 5
200+ graduates trained. Placement rate: 94%. Waiting list for Cohort 8
Partnered with 15 Hyderabad firms for direct placement pipeline
Enrolling Cohort 12. Same program. Better mentors. Bigger network.
Interview-first curriculum design
Interview the employers
Before writing a single lesson plan, we speak directly with the principals and HR leads at Hyderabad firms. We ask: what do fresh graduates get wrong in their first 90 days?
Map the exact gap
We synthesize the feedback into specific, teachable skills — not generic soft skills, but precise professional behaviours that firms observe and evaluate.
Find practitioners to teach it
We recruit mentors who have lived these situations — not academics. Each module is taught by someone who has done the work for 10+ years.
Build live, not theoretical
Sessions are built around real projects, site visits, mock client meetings, and live briefs. The capstone week uses an actual project brief from a Hyderabad firm.
What we believe
Practitioners first
Every person who teaches here has built things, managed sites, and worked with clients. No one teaches what they haven't done.
Specific, not generic
We don't teach "communication skills." We teach how to run a client briefing meeting for a residential project in Hyderabad.
Employer-aligned
Our curriculum is updated every cohort based on direct feedback from the firms that hire our graduates.
Hyderabad-rooted
We know the firms, the market, the culture. Our training is specific to what it takes to succeed in this city.
Listen. Learn. Develop.
This is what LetsFocus was built to do. If you're a fresh graduate ready to close the gap between your degree and your career, we're ready for you.
